Ashley was not the original Project Manager for the new construction of the Choral Rehearsal Hall on the campus of Southeastern University. However, as the project completion date began to fall farther and farther behind she was brought in to reign in the state of disarray the project was in. A project that has such specific needs as a Choral Building will always have challenges such as long lead items, specific design coordination with added professionals such as Acoustical Engineers in this case, and a hard date of completion. When a project isn’t managed correctly from day one, you can most certainly guarantee the building will not be occupied on the projected date. Ashley was able to reorganize the project and work through the many issues to succeed in opening the building for students and faculty when their fall semester began.
